As the forth goal for my EDCI 330 course in 2021, I want to work on my visual art skills. My justification for this is that I really want to be able to teach art in my classroom, but I lack the content knowledge and artistic skill to do so. So I have broken my goal four into sub-goals. The sub-goals are as follows:

  • 3A. Find an online course to work on my art skills
  • 3B. Make blog posts that connect personal art skills to my pedagogy
  • 4C. Create multiple pieces of visual art to showcase my progress.

Additionally, I decided on this overall goal 4 because if I can display personal growth and skill acquisition in this endeavour, I am modelling the ability to learn. This modelling will demonstrate that I am capable of learning and stand a better chance of helping others learn.
